The National Library of Sweden preserves all TV and Radio broadcasts in Sweden for future research. The library collect, preserve and make available almost everything that is published in Sweden (ref. kb.se). The archive consists of over 10 million hours of material, largely of analogue magnetic tapes.
When looking for a solution to migrate the analogue videotapes to digital video files, the National Library of Sweden chose Metus Ingest, supplied by the systems integration team in Mediability.
